Slot games based on movies have always been a success with players. IGT has released the Breakfast at Tiffany’s slot game based on the blockbuster hit film of the same name. The game hopes to revive the naughty side of players with the antics of the lead character Holly Golightly immortalized on screen by the enigmatic Audrey Hepburn. IGT has designed every facet of the game, including several bonus features with the film in mind.

Excitement of the Breakfast at Tiffany's Film in a Slot

In recent times, several slot games based on blockbuster movies have been released. IGT hopes to cash in on the success by encapsulating the romance and the excitement of the film in a slot game. The video slot has 60 paylines and five reels. The game is one of the MegaJackpots slot and offers five bonus games.

The game is in a MultiPlay format where players can switch between two set of reels, that of Holly and Paul. Players can play on either game or both of the games together. The minimum wager that should be paced in this game is 1c. Players can win up to 270 casino credits in the Breakfast at Tiffany’s slot game. The slot machine has a life-size image of Audrey Hepburn in the iconic black dress. Players are invited into the enticing world of Holly Golightly in this slot game.

Well-Designed Graphics Enhance Game Play

With one of the most classic movies as a theme, IGT did not have to look further to gain inspiration to deign path-breaking graphics and audio for the game. Players are treated to video clips depicting the famous scenes in the movie. The MegaFX music will serenade players as they wager their way through the game.

Keeping with the theme, the game has been designed in a simple yet elegant manner. Although the slot offers two sets of games, the screen does not seem crowded and allows players to concentrate on the game. The symbols are iconic elements from the movie. Some of them are Diamond and Opal Earrings, Sunglasses, Pink Couch, Guitar, Diamante Hairclip and Ballet Flats. In their respective games, Holly and Paul are also featured as symbols. All the symbols in the game are depicted in a clear and clean manner.

A profile picture of Paul is the wild symbol in the game and helps form winning combinations by substituting for any of the other symbols in the game. Another interesting feature in the game is the Alley Cat. The cat appears at random intervals and can rub any of the symbols on the reels transforming them into wild symbols.  The bonus symbol in the game is the Red Bow and awards free spins when a specific number of them come up on the reels.

IGT Adds Interactive Bonus Games in Breakfast at Tiffany’s Slot

The bonus games in the slot game are some of the best as they are interactive and offer a unique gaming and gambling experience. One of them is Pet the Cat bonus where an enlarged animation of the alley cat walks on to the screen. Players can earn innumerable free credits when they pet the cat.

The Typewriter bonus is another innovative bonus feature, where players can type on the machine and earn free credits. The other bonus games are the Alley Cat and the Five and Dime Store. In the first, players have to find the neglected cat as it jumps into the windows of shops and windows. In the second players can select random items in the store and earn credits.

There is also a bonus game where players can spin a wheel and earn additional bonuses such as free spins, multiplier value and credits. This is a different take on other IGT slot machines which have a u-Spin feature allowing players to manually spin the wheel on a pressure-sensitive video screen.

About Breakfast at Tiffany’s – The Film

Breakfast at Tiffany’s was released in the early 1960s and starred George Peppard and Audrey Hepburn  in the lead roles. Hepburn played Holly Golightly who is portrayed to be eccentric, an extrovert and has an alley cat for a pet. The film revolves around the impish activities of Golightly as she indulges in being a messenger for a mobster and naively flirtatious with the other men in her life.

George Peppard plays Paul Varjak, a failed writer, who is struggling to finish a book. In due course, the lead pair falls in love although Golightly realizes it only at the end of the movie. Hepburn had often declared that Holly Golightly was one of the most challenging characters she ever had to play. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance. The film was a blockbuster hit and is regarded as a classic. It is after the release of this film that major fashion houses around the world attempted to design their version of the black Givenchy dress worn by Hepburn in the opening sequence.
